Delia Kovac
(DEEL-yuh KO-vak)

My work navigates between abstraction and representation and is often made through a combination of humble jerry-rigged ingenuity and finely honed professional techniques. In all my work I seek out projects that push my thinking, explore unknown materials, and force me to learn new skills and capacities.

IĀ  received a BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from the Mason Gross School of the Arts of Rutgers University. My work is in the collection of the RISD museum, the Zimmerli Art Museum, Art Gallery of New South Wales, and the Rhode Island Historical Society.

I worked in Professional Fine art printshops on three continents including the Singapore Tyler Print Institute and the Brodsky Center in New Brunswick, NJ.

Also, I am an occasional correspondent for Printeresting.com, a Board Member of Girls Rock! Rhode Island, and an advisory committee member of Equity Action.
